I would eventually like to get something like the bluesound node so that I can set the crossover between the sub & bookshelves but for now, I am happy to manually integrate the sub & bookshelves for tv use. Music is fine without the sub.
True, but I'm not doing either just yet (no better sub or room measurements)...just checking if there's a way to get the best out of what I already have...
It's for tv (movies/series)...it brought enough extra when used with an amp with a dedicated subwoofer output that I am trying to do the same with the pre-out of my preamp. I don't use it for stereo music as the speaker alone are sufficient.

Just experimenting with subwoofer integration so not a trainsmash that it's a cheapie sub for me just yet...bass for music is fine with the speakers alone but the sub helps for movies
