I had a great weekend in Cape Town, fun and work combined. I meet some really amazing people and had a few magical moments.
I won't talk to much about the Airmusic room, I'll let the visitors share there thoughts, but I will say our room looked very nice and I'm very pleased with what we were able to showcase. It was great to see people just sitting back and enjoying the music and atmosphere. And to finally hear the Air Vivace was a huge highlight for me, Stefan has shared a lot of the build process with a few of us throughout the design so to finally see it completed and to hear it was magical.
Highlights for me from the other rooms:
@xumbug, your speakers blew me away, I knew immediately when Werner told me I must hear them they must be very good because i know Werner has a very good ear for box coloration and he was impressed. Sitting in that chair the music just floated in the air, it was delicate, smooth and just musically engaging. My favourite speaker out of the other rooms. Was really nice chatting with you as well. You going to need bring those speakers around so I can have another listen
Then I really enjoyed the Big Sonor Audio with Lance's TT, he played me sone Scandinavian Jazz that was just beautiful, the whole pairing worked so well together and was just effortless and musical. Lance is a really great guy to chat to.
Then my other favorite of the show was Bens room ( Acoustic Arts ) those Maggie's were just magical, I could sit and listen to them for hours on end. Ben you did an amazing job of getting really good sound out of such a tiny room, really well done. I'm still looking for those 4 subs you had hidden in there, but I'm starting to think it was the Kef sub down the corridor , damn that little Kef sub rocked.
And then the Listening Room with the Egglestone speakers was damn good as well, just loved that tweeter
