Hi everyone,
Great to be here. My name is Adam, I'm a musician based in Joburg. Whilst my focus as a musician and listener is to Renaissance and early Baroque music, I'm also into jazz, rock, classical, bluegrass, Klezmer, and lots of South American music.
I currently have two systems. My main system in my living room consists of a stunning Spectral DMC10 preamp and a Nelson Pass Threshold 4000 class A solid state stereo power amp driving a pair of Martin Logan CLSiiz speakers which I am in love with.
My second system in my study is a marantz PM750 DC integrated amp driving a pair of KEF Cantors. The amp and speakers just sound great together.
I use a Marantz CD player and an SMSL DAC.
I have a Project Debut Carbon with an Ortofon 2M Red and acrylic platter on the main system, and I've just inherited my dad's Luxman PD272 with a Benz MC 20E2 cartridge hooked up and a couple Ortofon moving iron M20FL super cartridges for backup.
I definitely wouldn't say I'm an audiophile, but I do love good sound.
