    Whatever was dripping on/leaking off of the resistor easily scraped off like wax.

    I had tested the two big output caps under the board and the working board was reading something like 9.3k ohms and the not working board was reading 7.2k ohms

    Alright i have the tools and i had fixed many items before so id say im just below average, experience wise. Im in Zimbabwe and am unsure if that would complicate things but im all ears, i used contact cleaner and motherboard cleaner to clean the connections. There was a post by el sid a while...
