Thank you guys for the info. I am surprised of how many gear are produced in S.A. Most of them are not known to me and probably to most of the other members as well. (or where did I sleep) These equipment don't get the exposure what they deserve. Or is it a lack of advertisement on their side...

Hi Ethan Sorry I did not mention . It is a mechanical hum. It could be the windings of the transformer. Sometimes it is fairly quiet, but other times it is more noticeable. It does not effect the sound, but is a nuisance.

What are the causes of transformer hum ? And what can you do to get rid of it or to reduce it ? :headbanger:
