With a huge music collection you will have to run Squeezebox from a PC as far as  I know...otherwise it will be very slow to load.

iTunes on a Mac will not import wma files...only iTunes on Windows will do it. The .wma files I have seem to be lossless .wma9 ...I need to play them using Decibel or Fidelia into a Quattro DAC.
