I have the HD 9 front speakers and a Boston subwoofer. All three woofers have had to have their surrounds replaced as they disintegrated due to them being made from polymer impregnated paper. Not a good advert for Boston.

I have tried Protec for a rubber or foam surround for my Boston sub woofer speaker but they claim my speaker is an unusual size. Any suggestions, anyone????

I printed five posts from Hellopeter and took them to the SAPS with the invoice and bank's payment confirmation. The claim they can help but I need to go back to my bank and get a stamped statement from them.

I have paid R6300 for the Sony. Any other 7 channel receiver will cost over 10 grand.

I had to pay my bank R264 just to try and get the money back. They bank at the same bank as me. There is, however, no guarantee that they will get it back. I sent a report to National Consumer Tribunal but have no idea whether they are the right people to complain to.

"corrosion on all boards" These words came from the Marantz agents. They repaired it but after a few weeks it packed up again. I then threw it out.

I suggest you do not touch Marantz if you live near the coast. My SR 5003 died after three years due to corrosion on all boards.

Sony first said beginning of April, then mid April, now they don't know.

Govin Mani made enquiries but could not find one. You can google Digital House and find their DN 1040 ad, but they have not replied to any of my queries.
