Ok so it worked for a while and now dead again. Will need to re-take it apart and properly grease everything. Also I found my speaker model. Its the Sansui LS70. Googled it and cant find any info. Anyone here knows them? 3way speakers with mid and high adjustability

ok some pics after opening the turntable... :o :o The tone arm I see the motor is running with a rubber belt. So might be worn out. First thing to replace. Now the the other question... where is the other moulded rubber piece?

Oh... ok might be a quickish fix then. Now the rubber piece,  would that be replaceable? Or possibly get one made up? And thanx. Will have a look at the tape deck too.

Ah ok. Well basically it has a auto start/return function which does not work any more. As normally when you switch it on and press the play/stop button it will start the platter and lift and move the arm to start playing. Now it just starts the platter however you can hear the lifter trying to...

Would anyone here possible be able to point me in the right direction to get TT serviced/repaired? Preferably in the Cape Town area, as I haven?t had luck with people in Hermanus with repairing audio equipment. Being fully computerized and direct drive I don't want to fiddle and break something :/
