Maybe this is a stupid question but here goes - As I'm aware no amplifier (even digital) is 100% efficient why do 99%(that I've seen) of the subwoofer companies claim 1000+ watts continuous power and/or RMS - and sometimes much higher peaks . Except for the odd co. all the top subwoofer specs...

I agree with adding a subwoofer to your system, you must just find one that suits your room,system and taste

I've had polarizing experiences from energy loudspeakers - fantastic sound on their entry to mid range speakers but I haven't heard their current lineup.

For High end audio use lightning protection, not basic surge protection in multiplugs. No need for insurance hassels.

Do you care how your system and/or room looks. When I was younger I bought the AV interior mags and the standard hifi mags. Where do you get your inspiration from?
