Thermal related dry joints caused by connector plugs. Ask repairer to spray contact cleaner and check all connector plugs connecting pc boards. Quick fix: suck through outside with vacuum cleaner without opening it. Then turn on, when crackling starts give light slap on right hand side panel.

If it gives a crackling sound when it gets warm it is relalated to dry joints and bad connections on connector plugs. Give it a slap on the right hand side to stop. Take to repairer to clean, loosen and repeatedly plug connector plugs in to illuminate dry connectors.

Hi All I would like to build my first speakers this December. I want to build fairly big 3 way bookshelf speakers on a low budget and want to know where to buy speakers and 3 way crossovers. Any advice please. Cheers Chris
