Yell is quite correct with what he is saying above. Panels became so cheap that if you want lets say 500w extra an extra panel will be cheaper then any other form of tracker ''cooling'' eg. I have noticed thou on full sun winter days the panels love it.

You are quite correct about cooler panels performing better. I will monitor it over the next week to see if that peak is still there.

I cant see how the above can work unless its on daily. I washed mine before winter and hosing off alone removes the surface dust but that's it. I had to broom wash them all to get the stubborn dirt off. Think of it like having a dirty car, hosing alone does little.
