Whatever you do get it quickly and dont divulge too much information about where you can get it. Otherwise someone on here is going to get it before you.... And sell it at a profit.

My opinion on the E-bay price thing also. I told him he should rather try sell on e-bay if he wants R25k.

Hi everyone. I've stumbled upon a guy thats got a AVO VCM163 tubetester that he got from his grandfather and wants to sell it. He claims it is in good working condition and hopes to get around R25k for it. Do you think it is realistic?

I'm always amazed by the technology of the old turntables. Some are just pure genius.

There is a very decent direct drive JVC QL-Y5F turntable for sale in the For Sale section. Perhaps worth having a look.

With LP's getting popular again we are due to expect everyone jumping on the bandwagon and throwing cheap quality at us.
