I bought a Linn Sondek LP12 TT also today. Has a SME 3009 Tonearm and Shure M97 cartridge. Definitely needs some TLC, but the lid is still perfect and it will need a setup. Before I give away what I paid for it... what would you guys reckon would be a decent price at the condition it is?

I think it might be a very similar thing to what is experienced with the recording quality of CD's today vs original CD's when they came out. High quality recorded CD's was DDD if I remember correctly. Sound quality was superb. Nowadays they record to get "loud music" and it is more difficult to...

And once you have converted them to digital I will buy them from you...  :thumbs:
