Stranger Things gets it just right. One episode and we binge watched the rest. Preacher is pretty cool albeit a little silly. The pilot of Vice Principals was really funny but you've got to be a bit twisted.

@Atjan Total cost for a 20L forced exhaust water heater installed with a full 48kg bottle plus a 9kg for backup was just over 15K incl. The water heater itself was 9K. I was initially quoted R18.5K for an 11L standard water heater by a plumber. The cost of that water heater was R3K.

So we had an Atlas 20L per minute water heater installed. Seems effective although the water pressure is slightly less when compared to an electric geyser. Not at all happy with the operating noise. Enough to wake the neighbours. Presuming something isn't right here so the installers are coming...

This^ Makes sense to me. After looking at solar heaters then heat pumps and now gas I ordered a system today and can provide feedback after Tuesday once it's installed.

In JHB. This was the first quote received. I think it also includes replacing the existing 150L geyser which has reached end of life. Will look at the two other options mentioned. Thanks for the input.

Yes, I also read the books when I was a child. The series isn't true to them but is lovely none the less. Am watching Preacher (amongst other things) and it's noteworthy thus far (E02).
