If you don't mind travelling, main reef tyres in Nigel normally beat most prices.  Just don't do the wheel alignment there. Used to do the shocks on my BMW there.

While reading about room treatment somewhere it mentioned that using a bookcase against the back wall could help, I don't see the big difference between these products and a bookcase
