After reading some feedback on the Massdrop forum it looks like there have been quality issues. It might be that the fittings into the cans aren't OEM Sennheiser ones

Yellowtail, like tuna doesn't need any foils etc. I cook them with olive oil, salt and pepper. I have also seen it done with jimmys sauce.
