Bret, They need a bit of extra space, but I would go for them in a heartbeat again. That is why I decided to keep them as back-up speakers.

Ok, so we have now established that the sweet spot of the Sonors are narrow. As I am the one doing most of the time in the listing chair, this is not the end of the world. Now how about the sound of the speakers. Is there any specific cables that you guys have found working better for the Sonors.

Do yourself a favour and have listen to the new Silver 8's. They are a vast improvement over the RX8's, they really focused on lessons learned from the RX8's.

Thanks guys. To be honest I don't understand half of what you guys have said, but all I know is that I will keep the CDP as is and look to scratch this itch another way. Maybe some black  Vivid 1.5 to go with VA Predator and the KI 7001. Much appreciated.
