Hi, It's definately not deeper than 2 mm. Where do you buy repair wax, will you get a high shine finish. I was think of just touching up the speaker. The speaker itself is a very professional finish on Scandinavian birch wood ( I think...). A spray job may create runs, will have to be sanded...

Strangely enough, I have the same requirement. Music mate in fourways quoted a reasonable price with good quality conenectors, I think around R300. Anyway glad that they will work, instead of spending big bucks.

See if you can get your hands on the sony es range, ss na2es or the smaller one. They were going quite cheap when sony left the country. They are highly priced on the net, but you can pick them up for about 25k. Very impressed with my set, paid 34k for the floorstanders and centre. Try a demo first.

Our complex is considering having fibre installed, with a few uncapped offerings and speeds starting at 10 mb/s, is this sufficient  for streaming showmax and netflix. What's the real limit on uncapped, what's the difference with premium uncapped...

Good quality components for a start. If you have a smart tv, send hdmi directly to TV and sound via RCA/coax/optical to amp.
