Virtually any amp is repairable... problem is normally whether it is worth it.  Unless one of the PCBs are fried, it probably wouldn't be too bad...

I've recently acquired a Cyrus Two Amplifier.  It requires a minimum impedance of 8 ohm. The B&W 685 has a nominal impedance of 8 ohm, however, these speakers have a minimum impedance of around 3.5 ohm. Should I be worried that there could be instances where the impedance drops below the amp's...

I have a chance to get a single speakercraft starlet 4 speaker. A pair of these retail in the region of $4000, but of course a single one would be much less useful. I can get this one for a fraction of the retail price. The speaker itself consists of 4x6.5" Kevlar woofers and 4x4" ribbon...

I know it's a bit late, but I found Rango to more of an animated movie for adults.  My son (4) got bored...  As an adult film it's pretty good!
