Here's the beyond repair part, what ever chemical he used to remove the glue warped the plastic the material dome was attached to, as a result he could properly center the coil, to which he decided to replace, by using the the dome and coil on another tweeter housing and magnet, which sounded...

Hey Rodney, yes there is a cut away, do you have any lead to an agent? I'm not sure who does wharfedale. I did try something from pq sound with a neodymium mag, and did a minor modification so it fit correctly (I did not tamper with the cabnet), but  I'm not happy with the sound.
