I can try to fix it using your suggestion of the centre piece of a donor knob - some of the broken off pieces are missing unfortunately. If I can find a 20mm or smaller diam donor knob it will fit neatly into the centre section of the existing knob!

It does look to be 6mm...  :D

Thanks. The potentiometer shaft dia is 5mm. The shaft has a flat section. The knob is 50mm dia. It's a Denon PMA 425R - I'm giving it away as a prezzie to a good friend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
