Hi I want to know when fitting a mains plug is it better to solder the three stripped strand tips first before tightening them or just leave it unsoldered? I think with soldering on you can tighten it better without cutting of some of the fine strands and it does not seem to come loose so easily...

This is a CA-151 power amp from 2000. When you switch it on you get a scratching noise on the left channel that pops up now and then but stays the same when you turn up the volume. Accept for the scratching noise the left channel sounds 100% like the right channel. The 2 power amps I bought...

Hi I want to know if you take a 2 to 4(bi-wire) speaker cable and on the speaker side join the 4(bi-wire) to get 2 wires, will this be exactly the same as a 2 to 2 speaker cable of same specs? Thanks
