Strange, i have a Toshiba multimedia device also coupled to the amp, and amp to tv, this gives no error on the amp... Could the HDMI cable im using be the problem?

When my PS3 is coupled to line 1 in with HDMI connection to my amp, the amp displays "HDMI error  HDCP error"... It only starts displaying this once the tv is changed to the channel the hdmi cable from the amp is connected to... Signal is fine, sound is fine, but it displays this on the amp...
