For the size the bass is actually very good. At the time I compared it against the Marshall's and it was way better. To be honest they are a bit on the expensive side, I'd rather buy one second hand and when the battery dies just replace it. Mine is the Onyx Studio 3.
I have a Harman Kardon Onyx. Awesome sound and the lithium battery died after 4 years and replaced it off Takealot the other day for 500 bucks. If you have two you can pair them to play stereo.
