    Neil Young - Le Noise

I don't know if it is just me, but despite what seems like endless positive reviews for Neil Young's new album I actually think it is a load of bollocks. Noisy, full of tuneless droning... this from a guy that has written some classic songs and some great melodies. Le noise indeed!

    SME Grommets

Pics of the latest versions of the '3009' arm actually shows the baseplate without grommets. Would think you can probably do without them.

    WANTED: Taj Mahal LP

Taking a long shot here but I'm looking for a copy of Taj Mahal's Giant Step on vinyl. Obviously in good nick but can be local pressing. This record was sometimes 'backed' with another Taj record - "The good folks back home" or something similar to that. I am in the Johannesburg/Fourways area...

    Vinyl Pick of the Day

Been listening to this a lot of late - bit of New Orleans funk veering towards jazz rock! Coolness.

    Vinyl Pick of the Day

Further to the comments above about genres of music, can this section (Vinyl and tube amps) keep to vinyl releases only? I keep getting excited about what I think is now available on vinyl, when in fact it is not...

    Now here's a thing...

Personally I think it's more like bad drugs on the designers part - or perhaps he suffers from tonearm envy (mine being bigger than yours and all that...) ;)
