    Thanks bud, now I have a reference point to compare. Yea I could probably DIY a set myself. Should not be too difficult. I am more into Rock/Christian praise and worship which is kinda like rock music LOL. Really appreciate the advice. Now to save up and look for some  bargains LOL.

    Thanks for the advice, that is pretty much what im aiming for. Which entry level HDMI receivers would be a good choice for a 2.1 setup? Ie 2 channels + a sub channel. In car audio a 4 channel would work perfect for what I want. In home audio I have no clue where to even start looking LOL.
