Just got a mail from Tafelberg furnishers. 15% off all audio components and speakers. Probably to coincide with the Homemakers expo happening this weekend. Apparently there will be a sound emporium. I wonder who else is gonna have some specials.

I had an Asus mboard with onboard sound. Windows default drivers were using AC'97 drivers. Couldn't get the SPDIF to work. The motherboard had a realtek chip however and after installing the realtek drivers everything worked perfectly. It is most likely a settings or driver issue somewhere...
