Thanks for all the reply, but my SD card (Mini/Micro SD card for phone) does not have a switch to make read only, I want to find out if possible to make it read only by encryption or some kind and not copiable? Like some of the excel documents you can only read and not even copy, copy protected?

Kinda found the thing with heating up, its when I use a 3G dongle modem to surb the web, my macbook air becomes a toaster and toasts everything in its way, but wifi seems to keep it cool. But on my old macbook white i never used to get this problem.... hmm.... and my macbook air is the new model...
