I built pensils with Mark audio Alpair 7.2s. Very nice speakers. Does a lot right. They got a lot of attention at the one DIY meet we had at Fran?ois. Still use them in my secondary system.

Using a Holo Spring DAC. Coax or USB both work. To set up USB out on the Node you need the latest firmware and have to enable the USB output in the settings.

Using an external DAC with my 3rd gen Node. Vast improvement in sound quality. I think the USB out on the Node might give the best results with DSD depending on the DAC.

Thanks I'll look into the panels mentioned. At soft and moderate volumes it sounds ok. If it gets louder the reflected sounds causes a lot of noise in the room. The windows further down the room are not covered.
