My initial thoughts are, the album has a very doomy sound. You can hear traces of the old Black Sabbath sound. Ozzy's vocals lacks the energy it had. Probably due to years of abuse and old age ;)

XBMC works fine on my raspberry Pi then again I am using a linux distro modified just for it ala Openelec.

I prefer flac to mp3 as a format, though I have to convert all my flac files to mp3 to play them in my car...until alpine makes a headunit with flac playback  :drool:

Different strokes for different folks...and no Kent not that kind of strokes. I like both Home theater and stereo setups, just have space for one though. Home theater was just the one more suited to my needs.
