I want to wire up the attenuator and tweeter, the woofer is fine. Whats confusing me is there are three black wires coming from the crossover, I know one black wire goes to the woofer along with the red wire but that leaves me with 2 black wires and one white wire.  :nfi: Hope that make sense..

This is probably a dumb question but can someone please tell me how to wire the tweeter and attenuator in a Yamaha NS-244 speaker? I got these at an auction some time ago with two blown tweeters, I have finally found two original tweeters to replace the old ones with but the previous owner...

Just don't switch the power amps on without having speakers connected to them, it's probably unlikely that anything would happen if you do switch them on without a load but rather be safe than sorry.

Mine has zero hum on the speakers, just the mechanical buzz coming from the transformer which is hardly noticeable unless I hold my ear close to the amp. I briefly tested the amp on my pair of NS100M speakers but want to make sure it's 100% before I hook up my FX-3 speakers to it, I still need...

The transformer used inside the M-2 is (potted?), I doubt there is any way for me to tighten it's clamp.. I'll have a look how it's mounted to the chassis, maybe the screws just needs a bit of tightening but I suspect it's DC offset causing the buzz.
