Ok guys, excuse my ignorance but can I use a pair of Seas H087 as a temporary measure until I am able to source a pair of original Yamaha tweeters? It just crossed my mind that I have an old damaged pair of B&O speakers stored away somewhere.

I'm having a hard time sourcing two replacement tweeters for a pair of Yamaha NS-244 speakers, the tweeters used in these are pretty much identical to NS10M tweeters. Can anyone recommend modern tweeters from a different manufacturer which are of similar spec? Not looking for anything exotic...

Very nice turntables which really benefit from a more solid plinth. I found one in similar condition a while back, at a scrap metal dealer of all places.  :Ooooooh: I had a spare LP12 plinth laying around into which I transplanted mine, fit's perfectly just needed a wider armboard.

For that touch of "airyness".  :giggle:

Not yet.. I don't think I've seen it here in Bloemfontein but I'll have a look when at the chemist again. Even the Devil's Peak IPA is hard to find around here.

What would a kit like this retail for? I have been meaning to build a diy tube amplifier for some time now and this looks simple enough for a noob like myself.

That is a real beauty, I have always lusted over this model. Wonder how many units made it to our shores.. :thinking: I have only ever seen it's smaller sibling.

What type of gunk is this? Hope it's not a milky substance which would indicate a bigger problem like a blown head gasket.

Last time I was in Cpt there was a guy selling records at Milnerton Market, he had quite a large selection and prices were reasonable.
