Shield all the way. Much faster than a mibox, better features (AAC to multichannel LPCM, Ethernet, 2x USB etc)

+Nvidia shield. Got rid of the old mede8ers last year and havent looked back. Parents use a Xiaomi Mibox, and gets the job done. However the shield is much better.

I think when setting up the amp you need to specify if Atmos Enabled or In-ceiling, with Atmos enabled working off bouncing sound, and In-ceiling being direct
