I'll mostly use it to watch Movies, Series and PS3 gaming. Sometimes I'll use it for music. I'd like to use my iphone to play some songs through the receiver. Network features would be nice. I currently have Sony Speakers but I'll be upgrading them to B&W 685's next year hopefully.

Where can I get those STAV stands from? I don't see any online.

Sorry to hear about that Boerie. Hijack: I'm also waiting for the sony to release but I really can't wait any longer! I was looking at the Denon X2000 or Onkyo 626. Anything else I should consider? I'm leaning towards the Denon. Thanks

I experience the same with my Explora. I always have to turn up the volume when we're watching anything on DSTV. I think it might just be a dstv thing probably.

I'd take it. A lot of the games are coming out next month and they are extremely hard to find at the moment. The prices have already increased.

I don't think you'll find a tv these days with good picture quality that doesn't have smart functionality.

The VT/ZT60 is the Panasonic Plasma and the F8500 would be a Samsung.

Is the SD content watchable on a HD tv? I'm a bit worried my 2meg is not going to be good enough for streaming.

Yify is terrible. PublicHD is much better.

I didn't have a single issue with mine. Unplugged my old HD PVR connected the supplied "switch" and everything was working fine.
