Hi Schalk Iv seen the amps that you have built for Harold Day and man i must say that those are serious pieces of equipment. Fine workmanship at it best..... Goes rather well with his Infinity IRS Beta speakers and those are huge speakers. Great stuff your hands create Schalk :thumbs:

Hey bud Cart and stylus is fairly new. Weight is set to zero. I do have the cart mounted on the center of the headshell. When I put my sl1200 headshell on I didn't have that problem. Tks

Hi Guys Would it be advisable to use an at91e on this tt i'v tried and it plays but after a bit, it just runs across the vinyl. Could it be a bit light as compared to the original PC11 cart. Tks

Thanks bud. Nope didnt experience any oddities thus far, it actually sounds the same as it would sound in its wooden enclosure.

Need to find 12v power within the tt to run some led lights bud. There is power 220v going to a voltage selector switch which then runs to the transformer which is built around the motor.

Hi Gents 90% done on this project. All advice welcome. Just need to tidy up the cables add some rubber herr and there. Some lights and it should be complete I think The original wooden box was collapsing so I decided on this transition. Will get some pics posted soon. Tks

Been following this thread for bit to see how it pans out. I seen nothing wrong with mission speakers I own a pair of 700 and 701 good sounding speakers. Tweeters are not bright is kef or very pronounced on b&w they quite neutral I feel and enjoy listening for long hours... Just my  :2c:
