    You can try max2play as well. Worked well for me. I also was using another sound card and not the headphone jack.

    My tweeter on my Tannoy Mercury M5 stopped working.  I opened up the box and found the magnet had separated and fallen down inside. Is this easy to repair? - Can I just remove the old glue and freshly glue it back in place? - It looks like it would be possible to line up the 3 screws and...

    Have a look at Max2Play as an option for software.  It can scale quite nicely from simple (e.g. just Bluetooth/AirPlay) up to complex (Logitech Media Server with tons of plugins, apps, multi-room support, +++)
