May be a bit late but finally watched Better call Saul season 6 (the final season), superbly written and performed series and a perfect ending. I even rate the series ahead of Breaking Bad, the series it was spun off from. And Breaking Bad was legendary.

The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, busy with season 4, does not seem to have quite the spark of the first 3 seasons but still a great watch. episodes are short or maybe because the dialogue is so sharp keeps you on your toes it seems that way

I have found a pair of Genesis Triton XLR Interconnects Neutrik connectors on each side in my cable "stash" maybe I should deploy it and give it a longer run ie swap out one of my Cardas or Audioquest cables? I also have two long runs of Kimber 4TC but shotgun (so 8TC?) speaker cable lying...

And another 3020 owner back in the day here as well.  It was a 3020a Did it not have "bridges" between the pre and power section so in effect you could add a power amp and use the 3020 as a preamp? I am sure I eventually did that, my memory of it is hazy though.

Thank you for this.  The OP was running an ARC Ref 3 preamplifier and he reported noise when he connected the Kinki's into his system which could be a impedance issue between the Kinki mono blocks and the ARC pre, hence my question.  May I ask what preamplifier you were using with the Kinki Mono...

Once again thank you for updating this Uber/ Ultra informative and entertaining thread. May I ask re the Humble Kinki's mentioned above, if you are back to running your ARC preamp with them, or is that still an issue and you have "changed/ switched" to a different preamplifier?  Regards Mike

Even more so since I have an ARC pre as well (LS27 which also prefers a 20K load) and note the possible impedance matching issues with the Kinkistudio power amplifier. Once again thank you for taking the trouble to share all of this and in so much detail.

I have been loving this thread, thank you for Xumbug for doing all the "work" so far, long may it continue.  Looking forward to the Preamp version of this thread.
