He quite reasonable actually...carries some spare boards etc for the Revox gear...so often he is able to simply swap out any offending part for you.

Hi. Yes he repaired  my A77. He is a Revox specialist who says he worked for them back in 1969/70s. He has a couple of his own including a rare Studer pro cassette recorder he claims produces studio quality recordings.

Hans Lemmerer.  Worked at Revox and knows these units very well.  Love working on them. Audio Equipment Service was established in 1998 by Hans Lemmerer ( Austrian by birth) for the service and repair of analogue sound systems like  Record Players, Tape Recorders - Cassette or Reel To Reel...

Have gotten my hands on a Tandberg 9000x.  Lughts a up and runs, but poorly.  Pinch roller is hard and brittle.  The mechanisms were all pretty much 'frozen up' so loosen them all up and got it running. Runs to slowly so that would be the pinch roller mostly i was assume??? Is this deck worth...
