Anyone have a power cable for a Revox Reel 2 Reel Tape Deck. Perhaps from a desk which no longer runs etc.
Would be a rectangular shaped 2 pin kettle plug.

Hi. Yes he repaired my A77. He is a Revox specialist who says he worked for them back in 1969/70s. He has a couple of his own including a rare Studer pro cassette recorder he claims produces studio quality recordings.
Hans Lemmerer. Worked at Revox and knows these units very well. Love working on them.

Have gotten my hands on a Tandberg 9000x. Lughts a up and runs, but poorly. Pinch roller is hard and brittle. The mechanisms were all pretty much 'frozen up' so loosen them all up and got it running.
Runs to slowly so that would be the pinch roller mostly i was assume???

I'm still keen to have is a day dedicated to local only. Not a shoot out, but simply a day to here the best of what SA has to offer at one location. VA with Sonors, VA with Vivid Audio, Geco with Sonors.... and so on.
