I  have taken the payment holiday with FNB Commercial Property Loan, only reason to free up some cash.  The same conditions than AVF. Fortunately , i have made extra payments last year into the account, i can get my hands on to those funds with in 48 hours ( did not know that till Covid hit us)...

I really cannot see them up the rate in the near future, that will totally destroy whats left of our economy after the lock down.

Rather free some cash up if you can by restructuring, can also revert back once things are "normal" again. I have also opted to take a 3 month payment holiday on my Business Loans....going to keep the money aside and if the trouble hits i can then at least try and dodge the bullet...

I beg to differ , if it is a valid claim they must come to the party. I deal with this on a daily basis (claims). In all the claims we handled i have 3 at the moment with the ombuds, i feel strongly that if its a valid claim and premiums where collected , the insurer must pitch with there money...
