Hi Guys Looking for a good reputable electronics shop / technician who will be able to repair the plate amp on an Energy ESW-V8 subwoofer. Happy to replace the plate amp altogether if someone can point me in the right direction. Thank you.

speaker looks awesome, love the black drivers against the white cabinets. looking at changing my Monitor Audio speakers as they are tad bit bright with the Cambridge 851A, maybe these may be just what i need. well done on building a great local brand  :2thumbs:

The dsp chip issue on the onkyo has been well documented. When I had the hdmi board fail on my 809 it was replaced and the DSP chip did have a "new" sticker on it. Pwatts is spot on with his explanation. See the thread below...

you need to be extremely careful when using rubbing compounds on the screen as well as it may remove the printed info as well. I suggest masking off the prints before you start with the polishing process  :2thumbs:
