Hi Just wondering if anyone on this forum is into minidisc. I was getting into it years ago until we were burgled and the bugger ran off with my Sony MZ-R35... So i may have some blanks (and some other discs that were recorded to only once) you may be interested in.

Apologies for complicating things, just take note when selecting camera body and lenses, to be aware that camera bodies have different CCD sizes, so either a crop sensor or a full-frame sensor. The size of the sensor has an impact on the, should I say, the 'perceived' focal length of a lens...

Its pretty decent, I remember playing it really loud to the tunes of Dr. Alban, Culture beat... 90's dance music and loved watching those VU meters, and today, still plays nice but with a different genre of music.

Lying unused the in the garage for a couple years... Last time I used it was when I was a teen who didn't know much about audio, with huge technics speakers blaring the beginning and flight scenes Top Gun played via laserdisc. Still working to this day... watching the VU meters when playing...

Have to agree here, I also think its less prone to fingerprints if its not highly polished silver.

I'm old school, I wouldn't like an amplifier looking like an engine block in my living room, but interesting to know its out there for the audioautophile  :thinking:
