Crossfeed or SPL's matrix may be what could change presentation (make headphones sound like speakers), noted not with proposed gear. If running ROON DSP or Audeze headphone preset (for Audeze headphones) it may also provide a more preferable presentation. (at a added cost of ROON setup).

FLAC by TIDAL can be encoded with added MQA data. This has 1st, 2nd and full unfolds depending on MQA hardware. Above may or may not change percieved quality, just FLAC is lossesless, MQA is lossy but much better than MP3. Sample rate and bitdepth mosly is increased when MQA at play.

A fresh OS install may help, adding RAM also. If HD is magnetic changing to an SSD may also add an much needed boost.
