Or perhaps, at what point do you know that the quality of your DAC has exceeded the abilities of the rest of your equipment? Until now I have been using an Argon DAC1 (https://www.hifiklubben.dk/Products/argon-dac1-d-a-konverter-31801/). It was an impulse buy at a Hifi Klubben store in Lyngby...
