Assembled the cabs, and vene though shiners method works well, the wood ain't cut to well. Will have to do something about it, maybe round the front and back edges and fill. Maybe next time, if I do something like this again, I will try and get them to cut the mitre at a 45.5deg instead.

depending on the radius, its not difficult at all. This is a 8mm radius if i remember correctly. Again, if you are using contact glue its easy. you will get some splitting as it bends, but that can easily be sanded down.

If its plain veneer with no glued backing, use cold glue, apply to both pieces, position and use a old electric iron set to hot and apply firm preasure. Working from a corner to get rid of any air bubbles. Works a charm. Before using the iron, you have plenty of time to reposition the piece, and...

Started this this evening, using Shonvers method. Due to the length, and the limited space I have, I had could only do two pieces at a time. So side and a top, and bottom and a side. Will then put these two pieces together, then fit the rear and eventually the front. Had a bit of an issue...

depending on what yo uare going to use to pait the veneer, and what it has been stuck down with. It could react in a bad way, causing veneer to lift. Maybe applying a wood sealer first, then painting

Unfortunately this is  the case here in SA, and typical in the area I stay in lol. You could however look at the likes of Rockford Fosgate, JBL, JL Audio etc. But beware, these are not going to be cheap in the 15" range. Even th 12's can reach a hefty price
