Cool, that?s good to hear. I?ve had a closer look now and there is indeed a blown fuse on the mains, but I?m also seeing what looks like a burnt wire from the toroidal transformer. I?m assuming that?ll be a lot cheaper to replace than the output transformers if it has been damaged.

Thanks, looks like I've got bigger problems than that though. Curiosity got the better of me, so I've plugged in a set of speakers and switched it on - nothing. Dead as a Dodo. So I'm not going to bother with it myself, I'll take it to my valve amp guy to check what's wrong with it and see if...
