    Have you tried to move the speaker away from the front wall and side walls and your listening position more to the centre, this worked for me in a square room and takes alot to find a small sweet spot, so the layout is more towards the center of room in a triangle shape as on Cardas webpage

    Get a set of Fostex 126en drivers they will blow you away in voice details and upper freq range, dont expect boom boom because then you are on the wrong forum to start with. And then don’t expect plug and play with new FR drivers you will be disappointed in the low freq range and shouting mids...

    I won’t even waist time or money to prototype with MDF and then rebuild with ply, build with ply as the design on the mm spec and you will be very very happy. I owned a Frugal Fostex set for many years brilliant design you cant improve on that. Juan

    My first was a set of TDL studio monitors on a Threshold Statis amp with Nakamichi pre and they were replace by a active set of massive ATC floor standers playing from AVI pre and Cd, those ATC’s is still unbeatable and my reference speakers.
