I missed it by about a year in the mid nineties....
My dad was a Sergeant Major in the Air force his whole life, so that was close enough for me. Although if he could he would have made sure I never went.
My older brother was lucky enough to get into navy officers course instead, but slipped a...
Agreed, but where else can a bunch of people comment on the appearance of a specific area of a top end product that is not supposed to be ever actually seen?
I would imagine (and just my opinion) that the majority of actual Vivid customers would never ever see the cross-over, or even want to...
My thoughts exactly, .... just imagining those beautiful cables (and I do love the look of nice cables) on those fancy floor lifter things going into that twin and earth cable from the cross over onward... it doesn't seem right!
If that is in fact the actual real Vivid cross over? I was hoping...
Agreed, I'm amazed at what is left at the bottom of the Spinclean.
It's no where as effective as the vacuum machines, but it has made a huge diff on some of my records.
I was blissfully unaware of this goat smell to goats cheese, until my wife pointed it out at Fairview farm. Goats cheese smells like goat, I thought she was being dramatic.
Haven't had a goat chop since my mate's wedding in Sardinia, although I recall enjoying it.
Sums it up lekker like.
It seems some members have forgotten that this forum is for the full spectrum of Forumites, not just those that "hope" to one day have a dedicated listening room.

The OP is posting his opinion on lower end kit, if it's a joke to you...
Edit: Having owned a pair of these, I found them a bit bright on anyting other than my valve amp....
And some opinions are more valuable than others, there are some very experienced chaps here.
Neil, just enjoy them, these are opinions, nothing more.
One mans detailed is another's bright, one mans warm is another's muddy...
One mans freedom fighter is another's terrorist.
  :flame:
But seriously, as Shonver says try them in the kitchen.....
I don't follow the DIY speaker vibe much, but if you had said that they were some obscure high end Italian brand I would believe you. Just a pleb opinion.
Nice.

Same here, basically all we drink at home, well, apart form the beer, whisky and wine. And maybe a gin and tonic now and again.
My young kids call it "busy water" (not fizzy). They know no better!
I've used a jamo switch, when I shared a set of speakers between the AVR and a stereo amp.
4 speaker connections, 2 amp inputs.
Similar to the rotel I think.

Andile, I think you left out the comment "for now", as with the kit you come across, I'm sure it first does some duty in your setup if it catches your fancy!
+1
And if you can only find a decent dac with optical in, you can use a Chromecast Audio (about R800), and you can stream at least 44/16 FLAC from Tidal into it using a mini optical cable or whatever it's called.
Aren't the MA's in question in a "better" league than the CM10's, being the platinum range?
No disrespect to the B&W's, I've got CM9's!
Always loved the look of the MA's.
