CAN TURNTABLES COPE WITH LARGE CLASSICAL WORKS

You make no mention of the rest of your system. Are you sure that the distortion is only at source?

Bits and dB are 2 different things. Analogue does not have a bit depth.

    Full Range Speakers

Do yourself a favour. It's called reading. There is tons of info and threads on DIYaudio regarding the MarkAudio drivers. Planet10 and plenty others have done huge amounts of research regarding many of those drivers and have come up with positive results.

You can either get them from KJF in the UK or from Madisound. Those appear to be the cheapest suppliers.

Very impressive board you have there. Professional and exemplary. The original OEM board is rather pricey, I see. Any idea how it would compare to the ALLO UsBridge signature?

    Public service - Electrolytic Caps

A capacitor specced for 200V, 105 deg and 1A ripple will last much longer if run at 150V, 35 deg and 0.5A ripple than at its full spec. I'd guess that many cheapskate manufacturers will run caps at their absolute max values.

Do Amplifiers impart a sonic signature to music

Not at all. The 2 examples you mentioned superimpose their "ideals" onto existing flawed devices. There is NO single amplifying device that does not alter the sonic signature. They all do. Period. An amplifier designer has to choose his amplifying device, choose the topology - or combination...

Do Amplifiers impart a sonic signature to music

By far not as simple and as easy as you make it out to be. Your equalizer is going to boost/cut certain frequencies - nothing else. There is way, way more to it. Certain designs and types of devices are going to give you various distortion structures, they are going to behave differently to...
