We have a Ryobi for use in our small complex and while we have had somewhat better luck than Trompie, I have to say that it is nowhere near the class of the Husqvarna and Stihl saws I have used. You get what you pays for.

Thanks everyone for the advice. Since the buzzing is only at particular frequencies it seems likely to be the spiders. Am I right to draw that conclusion? And if I go in there and find one that is loose what glue would you recommend?
