I have been Tannoy "fortunate" lately and also took a gamble on a pair of Guy R Fountain 3910HE 15" drivers that reportedly had a blown tweeter.....I was lucky.....the ferrofluid had just turned to glue....no damage....all the gunk was cleaned out of magnet gaps and coils and fresh fluid...

Yes ....about 15 watt handling and 16ohms....they could do with tweeter help I'd imagine and back in the 50's a 3 speaker arrangement was also offered....will post the link to the brochures.

I thought I had seen it all but wideband Tannoys are certainly a first for these eyes....1950's Silver era drivers....anyone heard them or owned them perhaps?....pics to follow.

Probably not quite what you had in mind but the Troels open baffles were largely inspired by the old Wharfedale sand filled baffles.....and they are beautiful as well.....maybe somebody would like to try this.....I am busy with 240ltr Tannoy GR Fountain signature 15's which John is building for...

Depending on what you would like to do.....I have something that has been sitting in the cupboard....if a Wharfedale SFB interests you.....I have dual 15's with dual 10" fullrangers and the tweeters.....can post pics.....

Guaranteed to be ECC82 or 83.....my memory fails me as to which though.
